Envirosuits

Overview[]

Envirosuits are the base suit worn by all prospectors with varying benefits to each. Some suits come with the added bonus of slots for oxygen/food/water and Modules (which can expand a prospector's inventory size, increase carry weight capacity, increase movement speed, or increase a prospectors resistance to negative effects).

Crafting/Equipping[]

Prospectors can research and craft new Envirosuits in the Workshop aboard the Space Station. Newly purchased Envirosuits can be equipped prior to starting a new prospect. The  Xigo S5 Envirosuit is automatically equipped if an Envirosuit is not equipped before starting a new prospect.

To change the Envirosuit a character is wearing, they must leave the prospect and return to the space station. Envirosuits cannot be requested via the  Orbital Exchange Interface. On an Open World or Outposts, the procedure to replace your Envirosuit is as follows:

1. Place all items crafted on the surface in a container/bench. When you leave an open world prospect via dropship, all items held and worn that are not part of your orbital loadout are destroyed.
2. Fly out via dropship.
3. If playing solo or hosting, Load your prospect. If playing as client, Join the prospect again.
4. Equip the desired Envirosuit by dragging it over the default one, and choose any additional workshop items to include in your drop loadout.
5. Drop back into the Open World, retrieve your loadout from the pod, and resume play.

Yes, your open world/outpost can be returned to, your base will be intact.
