Fishing equipment allows prospectors to catch a variety of freshwater and saltwater fish in any body of water. Fishing Rods allow for a more engaging method of fishing, while fish traps like the Basic Fishing Trap and the Advanced Fishing Trap allow for more passive fish obtainment. Lastly, Lures offers prospectors the option to customize their fishing rods/fishing traps to increase their chances of catching certain fish rarities or to increase the size and/or weight of caught fish.
