Spears

Overview[]

Spears are two-handed melee weapons that allow prospectors to stab enemies from a distance and reach farther than other melee weapons. Due to Spears being a two-handed weapon, they cannot be used with Shields. Unlike Javelins, Spears can no longer be thrown and have a maximum stack of one. Unlocking Spears in the Tech Tree also unlocks their Javelin variant.

Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 Spears can have Tool Attachment Packs applied at an  Alteration Bench/ Advanced Alteration Bench. Tier 1 and Workshop Spears do not have a slot for alterations.
