The Icarus Tech Tree is what enables prospectors to Craft the Items they need to complete missions on the surface. Prospectors can access Tier 3 once they reach level 20.

Description[]

If Tier 1 was about survival, and Tier 2 let prospectors take control of Icarus's Resources, then Tier 3 might be when prospectors finally begin to thrive.

The Machining Bench kicks off Tier 3 and sets the tone for the blueprints to come: advanced materials and a refined experience. Prospectors will be able to Build structures made with Aluminium, Concrete and Glass Building Pieces. Their Tools can be crafted with high-end Platinum Ingots, allowing them to harvest Minerals and Flora much faster and with greater efficiency.

The Weapons available in Tier 3 are more powerful and deadly: the Recurve Bow is dangerous in the hands of a skilled Hunter, and a whole new class of ranged weapons, Firearms, can be unlocked as well.

Medicine is also more advanced, no longer strictly curative but preventative too, and exemplified by the Antibiotic Pill. New Foods and Drinks can give exceptional bonuses to Health and Stamina.

Finally, efficiency and speed are key for advancing prospectors as time on the moon is limited. New Deployables like the Concrete Furnace, Dehumidifier and Biofuel Composter allow prospectors to speed up processes, prevent negative Status Effects, and fuel their endeavors.
