Coal Ore is a Mineral found on Icarus in the open and caves. It's most basic use is as a fuel in a 
Campfire or 
Stone Furnace, though this is somewhat inefficient as it is more valuable as component for crafting.

Coal Ore burns for 4 minutes in a campfire, firepit, or fireplace. A full stack of coal burns for 6 hours 40 minutes. When used as fuel for a light source such as a torch or candle, one Coal Ore burns for 1 hour 40 minutes, and a full stack lasts for 166 hours 40 minutes.
