This backpack is specifically designed to benefit players moving into Electronics in Tier 3 and Tier 4, with notable increases in copper, gold, and platinum yields when mining.
The Electroshock element complements this also and is a powerful modifier. This provides a significant damage increase when procced and is especially valuable for ranged weapons, providing an alternative to the 
Larkwell Martinez Tazer Arrows/ Larkwell Martinez Charged Bolts as well as some workshop tools.
Crafting[]
The Ion Backpack is unlocked in the Workshop on the Space Station and is equipped in the Prospector's loadout before starting a new prospect.
