Deer provide the largest herbivore population by far on Icarus. Deer are usually found in smaller family groups of three or more. Due to their large size and quick speed, they tend to be startled easily and blend in with the forest well.

Modification of their respiratory system allows these deer variants to withstand - and thrive - despite Icarus's toxic atmosphere. Resources can be harvested by hand, but a skinning bench yields greater resources.
Skinning[]
Skinning up a Large Deer carcass with any knife will produce resources. Skinning with a 
Taxidermy Knife will produce a Vestige that can be used to make a Trophy.
