The Platinum Axe is a mid/late-game Axe that can be crafted while on the surface of Icarus.
A Tool Attachment Pack can be applied at an 
Alteration Bench/

- A: Melee damage is the damage dealt to fauna/objects. Increased felling damage increases the damage you deal to trees, reducing the number of hits needed to chop a tree.

Crafting[]
The Platinum Axe can be crafted and repaired at the Forge (or Foundry) once the Prospector reaches level 20 and unlocks the Tier 3 portion of the Tech Tree.
