Overview[]
Prometheus - A location where the terraforming process failed, leaving the biomes relatively intact, but the same cannot be said for some of the local inhabitants. With 8 story missions available in Open Worlds as Operations, prospectors will abandon the safety and familiarity of Olympus and Styx as they work to uncover the shrouded past of Prometheus. With resource spawns tied to specific biomes, prospectors are encouraged to explore what Prometheus has to offer.
Prometheus consists of 6 Biomes and 21 Regions:
Prometheus is more difficult than Olympus and Styx - New prospectors are advised to start on Olympus.

FAQ[]
- Can all Prometheus Missions be started in an Open World?
- All missions except Exploration missions can be started in an OW. Missions done in Open Worlds are referred to as Operations. Starting a Prometheus Open World will walk you through starting Operations on that map.
- Can I redo completed Operations in my OW?
- Once an Operation is completed in that OW, that mission cannot be completed again in that OW. Missions, however, can be repeated.
- Can I extract exotics in my Prometheus OW?
- Exotics/ Volatile Raw Exotics can be extracted and sent to orbit using the Orbital Exchange Interface - more info on their respective pages.
- Are there resources/fauna exclusive to Prometheus?
- Yes. Some of which are Crystallized Miasma, Infected Bark, Bluebacks, and many more.
- I can't find Platinum/Titanium. Where can I find them?
- Where can "Red Exotics" be obtained?
- Some Prometheus Missions/Operations grant Stabilized Exotics upon objective completion as a form of currency. However, Volatile Raw Exotics, the precursor to Stabilized Exotics, can only be found natively in Prometheus Missions/Open Worlds - more info here.
