Volcanic Biomes are biomes in Prometheus Region.
Description[]
Volcanic Biome is a biome that exclusive to Prometheus region. These biomes are hazardous and challenging due to the harsh environment, unique destructive storms, and presence of deadly predators.
Volcanic Biomes do not contain oxite and caves do not have water.
Region:
- Basalt Expansion
- Basalt Valley
- Lava Flow
Gameplay[]
Prospectors can reach Volcanic region via 2 thorn-clotted land entrance in Shallow Mire leading towards Basalt Valley. There are also 2 tunnels in Grassy Plain and Shallow Mire leading towards Basalt Expansion. To enter Lava Flow, prospectors navigate through a tunnel at the eastern Basalt Expansion.
Without deep mining, Volcanic region contains 2 exclusive resources - Scoria and Obsidian. Scoria can be found anywhere in the volcanic region, but Obsidian is only present near lava or inside lava caves.
Exclusive Predators in Volcanic Biomes:
- Lava Broodlings: White spider-like creature. Armored legs but unarmored body. Highly aggressive. Can set its victim on fire.
- Stonejaw: Attacks like a bear. Armored back but weak at its belly. Aggressive. Can use fire breath in ignited status.
- Arid Striker: Fast and resilient apex predator. Skinny body but potent attacks. Highly aggressive.
- Ashen Drake: Volcanic version of Komodo.
- Ignaris: Volcanic version of Viscid.
- Redback: Volcanic version of the Blueback
Mission-Exclusive Creatures:
- Flying/Explosive Lava Broodlings: Only present in Fracture: Manhunt. Explode on death or touch.
- Lava Hunter: Named as "Little Friend". Boss creature.

There are four types of weather events in the volcanic biome, all have varying levels of intensity from 1 to 6.
